Hempel Holding has established a joint venture in China, Shanghai, with its former sales manager, Max Peng. This subsidiary, under the name Hempel Materials Technology, is a 100 per cent China-based company that can do all its business in China. This enables Hempel to support local and international customers with a wide range of local services. Hempel Materials Technology distributes all Hempel products and continues to provide back-office support to Hong Kong.
